About FGW

The policy of French Gourmet Weekends.com ( FGW ) is to provide a register of clients who wish to advertise details of their gites, chambres d'hôtes-hotels or restaurants located in France. (We use the word gites as a general term for various types of rental accommodation including villas, chateaus, apartments etc..)

The design of the site has put great emphasis on easy navigation so that by browsing via the national map of France, through the regions, site visitors can see quickly, approximate locations of restaurants hotels and gites registered by the appearance of small red circles. Rolling your mouse pointer over these circles will then give a display of the businesses registered in that location. Clicking on that location will provide more details.

The FGW site has been set up so that registered clients can record promotional material direct on to the site and amend it, when they wish to. This gives clients the opportunity to change example menus text or photographs and we believe this will be beneficial to the site visitor and business client.

Site visitors may register as FGW club members. There is no registration fee and as our membership grows we will use the strength of our membership to encourage special offers from businesses registered on our site. We plan to mail out to registered members twice a year, details of seasonal/special offers, which are available at the time.

The information shown about each gite, chambres d'hôtes-hotel or restaurant will have been provided by the registered business and as mentioned in our terms and conditions FGW cannot accept any responsibility about the accuracy of such information.
